Robert Niziol brings over 25 years of capital markets and private equity experience and more than a decade in the renewable energy sector, positioning him as a pivotal leader in solar and battery storage project development and financing. As a partner at Penton Partners, he has facilitated over $300 million in investments across 30+ transactions, consistently achieving 20%+ IRR over 15 years.
In the clean energy space, Robert serves as CEO of Promittens Energy, a developer and EPC of solar and battery energy storage projects. He also serves on the Boards of Advisors for global renewable energy leaders including Erudito (one of Poland’s largest solar developers), ChargeZone (India’s extensive EV charging network integrating hardware, software, and renewable energy), and VoltBank (an innovative battery storage manufacturer). He has advised SMEs, multinational corporations, and government agencies on restructuring, financing, and growth strategies, advancing the transition to sustainable energy.
Previously, Robert held roles in structured credit at JPMorgan Chase and leadership positions in several venture-backed technology firms. He holds a BA in International Business and Finance from the Anisfield School of Business (Ramapo College of NJ) and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and the London School of Economics.
